about

SAER’s track ‘Sorry’ begins as a pensive piece about a couple in need of reparation. One looking for forgiveness. As the end of the chorus swells the song progresses into a soundscape of synths, powered forward with a driving electronic beat. The song give musical nods to classic 80’s tracks. The timing of the tracks release and sheer love of the Netflix show ‘Stranger Things’ led to a homage of the show with a video pastiche directed by Paul Griffin.
The release of ‘Sorry’ is out on July 1st 2022 on all major platforms.

lyrics

Sorry I treated you this way,
Worries have turned your nights to days, I put you first some time ago
Now it feels right to let you know
How I feel
Can we start again and make this like it was We are hurting but is this not how love works
It tears me up to know I made you feel this way Im sorry
Blue light illuminates the dark Constant distraction kills our spark Slowly
Can we start again and make this like it was We are hurting but is this not how love works
It tears me up to know I made you feel this way Im sorry
I put my hands up
Of the two of us I’ve done most wrong
Now I’ve bruised your heart
Should have spoken up when things went wrong Soon enough
It could all be falling to our our feet
Let me say the words
I could never make the same mistake now
If I don’t change she will leave me Im here staring at the ceiling Nights are getting longer
Feel you drifting ever further
Let me get back, let me get back what we had Sorry
Shadows calling out
To do more of what has gone before Can be fooled no more
Ive been wanting for this change of heart There’s more for us
Though I understand if its too late
Ive had all the chance
And I’ve wasted every moment you gave
If I don’t change she will leave me Im here staring at the ceiling Nights are getting longer
Feel you drifting ever further
Let me get back, let me get back what we had Sorry
